The village is built around the old church , which already existed in the sixteenth century , which stood right on Pizziddu and of which no trace remains today , having been demolished to make room for speculation in the 70s. The current church building in the nineteenth century is located in the center of the country, and is dedicated to St. Margaret. More recent training is Pozzillo Above about 1 km away, on the road to Ripon.
A Pozzillo there is a spring of mineral water slightly alkaline . The water is classified as sulfate and magnesium , were also taken through three artificial wells and bottled and marketed since 1926. The company Acquapozzillopoteva boast of having provided King Ferdinand I of Bulgaria , who knew the water during his stay in Sicily. The activity , which was passed to the Region of Sicily, has ceased in the 2000.
