Holiday flat in a listed house on the railway line to the airport (only 12 minutes)

This newly renovated (2014) holiday flat is located at the harbour in Malaga's town centre on the third floor of a multi-family home from the 1940s with tall ceilings.

The building is not too enticing from the exterior, yet it is a listed property, since it was built during the 1940s. Inside, you will love the three meter tall rooms, the art nouveau tiles, the alcoves and the tall wooden transom windows. The 61 m² apartment has two balconies, one accessible from the kitchen (5 m², west facing) and the other accessible from the bedroom (4.5 m², north facing). To the south you will find a functional patio, to the west a quiet road (Calle San Lorenzo) and to the north a road with little through traffic (Calle Casas de Campos). Above the crossroads is the charming living room with six beautiful alcove windows, which are indirectly lit. There are no direct neighbours except for the owner, whose office is adjacent to the flat.

The apartment has been furnished with a European standard (walk in rain shower, underfloor heating in the bathroom, large beds, central heating/cooling), a modern kitchen with an oven, new windows in the bathroom and bedroom etc. The 31 m² kitchen/living/dining room is modern and practically furnished. The alcove in the living room with its six windows offers views of the newly renovated building (listed) and the Alameda de Colón with many green palm trees.

Unfortunately, the owner was able to only safe a few of the beautiful of tiles, which had been tiled over previously. The saved tiles were used, along with reproductions and wooden floors.

The property is easily accessible on public transport as the railways stops just 100 meters from the building. The road is a pedestrian area with little through traffic. It also leads to the harbour (east) and the contemporary art museum (west). Several bicycle and Segway rentals are nearby. The cathedral is easily reached from the house. You can get to all of Malaga's hot spots on foot: museums, monuments, restaurants and bars. We highly recommend a visit to the new harbour. Enjoy Malaga in a quiet location with modern amenities and at a fair price.

    “The facilities of this appartment are more than sufficient. The Interior is modern and the furniture is clean. The location is perfect, its situated nearby Malagas main turistic areas and shopping malls whilst you can embrace the quitness of the this soho malaga part.

    The appartment is very clean with good quality beds. The price range of this appartment is very likeable. The servicelevel is also very high and friendly, i experienced difficulties with the Wi-Fi inthe appartment and in no-time the problem was solved by the owner.

    Experiencing some earlier trips and stays in Malaga city, to me this is a highly reccomendable accomodation. For my next trip to Malaga i'm surely gonna consider staying here again.”
