The Guard Hussars of the Cavalry ride through the streets of Salgelse every Wednesday. Travel to the other side of the Great Belt Bridge and explore the Egeskov Castle in Funen. Enjoy fishing on the nearby coast. Visit the Reersø Peninsula, which is under nature conservation and is famous for tailless cats. Also worth seeing is the Birkegårdens Haver - a 10,000 square metre adventure park with animals, games park, the manor Kragerup, football pitches, treetop trail and canoeing in the moat.
