Beautiful charming flat, very romantic, old residence of householder's great-grandfather, Notary in Montepulciano. Recently wholly restructured, very quiet, in a very beautiful position: in the historical centre of town, but facing the walls of the city, in a dominant position.
Two nice bedrooms, smartly furnished, both with parquet, very beautiful frescoes '800 ceilings and a great view over Valdichiana and Trasimeno Lake.
Very bright living room with exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors.
Bathroom with shower/hydromassage. Washing machine. Internet WiFi.
LCD TV. Autonomous heating system. Air conditioned

NOTE: The house and the street below, for their highly scenographic characteristics , was used for shooting some scenes of the recent movie "NEW MOON" (sequel to "TWILIGHT") and, more recently, for shooting the TV-movie "MEDICI: MASTERS OF FLORENCE" with Dustin Hoffman and Richard Madden (almost entirely shot in Montepulciano and Pienza)

    “Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen! Einziger Abstrich ist die - bei offenem Fenster - sehr laute Umgehungsstraße unterhalb der Schlafzimmer.”

    “Zufahrt (polizeiliche Erlaubnis, Entladen) kompliziert, Bezug der Wohnung über zwei steile Treppen zumindest für ältere Gäste anstrengend. Die Wohnung selbst dann sehr schön. die beiden Schlafzimmer mit Weitem Blick über die Stadtmauer nach Osten bis zum Lago Trasimeno, die Decken der Schlafzimmer mti ihrer kunstvollen Bemalung bemerkenswert.
    Das Wohnzimmer hat nur durch die offene Küche ein Fenster, ansonsten Licht durch das hohe Dachfenster. Die Küche ist ordentlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad geräumig mit einer als Einheit vorgefertigten Duschkabine (mit Neonlicht und Radio), da allerdings ein Jacuzzi zu sehen ist eher eine Fata Morgana als die Leistung einer schöpferischen Phantasie. Bei kaltem Wetter teure Heizkosten!
