After almost 500 years of agriculture, viticulture and livestock farming, the impressive 1,500,000 m² Son Sureda estate has changed course and now welcomes holiday guests of all ages. The eleven holiday apartments, spread over the main house, the Mayoral and the outbuildings, each with one or two double rooms, still reflect their former use. The farm is home to horses, sheep, chickens, guinea pigs and tortoises, and produce such as almonds, figs, grapes and cereals are grown on the estate. The horses roam freely. On your walks around the old walls you will discover many old horse-drawn carriages and interesting agricultural implements. On your own small terraces, either at ground level or with a view, you can enjoy your privacy, but also have the opportunity to meet other holidaymakers in the large courtyard with its many tables and chairs, perhaps while you start a relaxed Mallorcan morning. You can enjoy the island's typical continental breakfast inside under the vaulted ceilings (the former horse stables) or outside in the open air. Two pools with loungers and outdoor showers, a paddling pool, a playground with swings, sandpit and climbing frame, a football pitch and the many animals create a balance between relaxation for single travellers and couples and farm holidays for families. Depending on the time of year, children can feed the animals under supervision and guidance. In September, interested adults can watch or even take part in the harvest. And we are sure to have just the right apartment for you.

Perhaps Cas Mayoral? The mayor was once the estate manager, essentially the landowner's right-hand man, and lived here with his wife and two daughters. Your indoor holiday kingdom would consist of a cosy bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a living room with typical Mallorcan rocking chairs and a small dining table. Natural olive wood beams add to the wonderfully rustic flair. On days when you want to stay at the property all day, you can prepare snacks, salads and small meals in the small kitchenette with fridge, two ceramic hobs, microwave and coffee machine. On the covered terrace facing the inner courtyard, you can relax at the table, read a book and enjoy your favourite drink. A second patio door leads to the rear terrace, which faces north. Here you can enjoy more privacy and in the height of summer it is a slightly cooler spot.

City life or sea breeze? From your villa accommodation, you can easily explore the different parts of the island. Around 15 km away, kilometres of beaches await sun worshippers, surfers and families with children: The expansive Son Serra de Marina and the almost two kilometre-long sandy beach towards Colònia de Sant Pere offer enough space to do more than just spread out a towel. If you want to enjoy the blue tones from above, drive to Betlem and climb the 5 kilometres up to the small Ermita. Of course, more challenging routes for hiking boots and mountain bikes are also possible from here. The Ma-3322, which can be audible depending on the wind direction, will take you to the town of Manacor for a spontaneous trip to the historic town centre or a stroll through the vitamin market. If you would like to visit the cathedral in Palma, simply leave your car at the train station and take the bus or train. Holiday home in the countryside with lots of nature for guests of the villa: Feel at home on the Son Sureda agrotourism estate, which is located between sheep pastures and vineyards and has eleven self-catering flats and studios, a large underground. shaped courtyard and several pools. Manacor, one of the island's metropolises, is only 9 km away. The town is ideal for shopping at the daily fruit and vegetable market, for excursions or for a relaxed dinner in a restaurant. Furthermore, in Badia dAlcúdia and Colònia de Sant Pere you will find beaches that are not yet overcrowded.
