Between the hills and the mountains in the background lies the old medieval town of Motovun. Yes, 'breathtaking' is the right word here! Walk along the narrow path and you will see a scene that has not changed in 500 years. The village has remained natural, not carefully painted over to look new or superficially attractive. Its appeal lies in its lost-in-time character. You'll hardly find Vizinada in the travel books, so make a point of discovering it for yourself. All amenities are close at hand.
