Discover unique hiking and MTB terrains in Gautefall. There are miles of marked hiking trails here. Whiz through the mountain landscape on your mountain bike. It's sure to get your pulse racing! Besides hiking and fishing, you can also go to Lake Nisser and jump in a kayak. Don't forget to explore the town of Treungen, where you can experience the Treungen Festival in the summer. Alpine climbers will find majestic, unique granite walls around the large Lake Nisser in the vast forest and lake area of Telemark, one of the most diverse climbing areas in southern Norway. The Sunshine Cliffs are a good example of this. Don't forget the Reinsfoss waterfall in Nissedal, as well as the beautiful natural phenomenon Jettegrytene, round or long depressions in solid rock formed by melt water during the Ice Age.
